Fitness – Walking/ Running Group

As part of our Healthy Club Project Annacurra GAA Club have arranged for an Athletics Ireland registered coach to come down to Annacurra for 5-6 weeks to help set up an adult fitness group  to get people running or walking more.

This is for anybody who wants to get a bit fitter or healthier and we will be catering for all levels, (couch potato to marathon runners), so everybody is welcome to come along regardless of fitness level’s or club membership.

The events will be taking place on a Thursday night at 8pm at the field till probably the 26th of June.

Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Fight Night

The Annacurra GAA versus Tinahely GAA fight night was held in the Arklow Bay Hotel on Saturday the 22nd of February 2014 and was a fantastic success with some much needed money being raised for both clubs. Congratulations to Tinahely who won out on a score of 7 bought’s to 5 with one drawn bought.

We would like to thank all the fighters who put in so much hard work in preparation over the last several weeks and who did themselves and their respective parishes proud by donning gloves and stepping into the ring.
